Voltorb is a poke ball possessed by Haunter !!!

The Pokemon world is a fascinating world.It has so many beautiful puzzling,and mysterious Pokemons that we  grow up admiring.However , the creator of Pokemon left so many questions unanswered along with some clues to his fan to figure out.One of those unanswered questions is the truth of Voltorb.Why does he have a similar look to a Pokeball ? To answer this question , I made some research and come to the conclusion that Voltorb looks like a poke ball because he is actually a Poke Ball , but not a normal one.He is a Poke Ball possessed by another Pokemon who is Haunter.

Now, if we compare their looks we notice that if you put Haunters eyes in a Poke Ball , we get something that looks exactly like Voltorb.You cannot deny that.

Now you may ask , how did this happen ? Well, I strongly believe that since Haunter is a ghost Pokemon it goes through walls without a problem.One cursed day, Haunter went through a wall and accidentally touched a very special  Poke Ball.It tried to get through it but  it could not.This is because Poke Balls are not Like other objects. Poke balls are designed to capture Pokemons. Hence, Haunter accidentaly locked itself in a poke ball and since the bell was not used properly on Haunter.Meaning that it was not thrown at Haunter , it caused a kind of a glitch if you will.As a result, Haunter Morphed with the ball and is forced to possess it.


This way Haunter became so frustrated and easily irritated due to being eternally forced to possess a poke ball and started to use self distract.Another similarity between the two is that both Haunter and Voltorb can learn self Destruct ,which strengthen even more the credibility of this theory.
