Many Pokemon fans Mega
Evolve their Pokemon in video games and many watch Pokemon mega evolve in the
anime.However,very few people know what Mega Evolution really is and how and
when it come about.In the lines below I will be more in depth about this new
phenomenon.
Mega Evolution is a
transformation that a Pokemon goes through after it has reached its final non
mega evolution form.This was introduced very late in Generation VI.
For a Pokemon to Mega
Evolve, it must be holding their appropriate Mega stone and its Trainer must hold a a key stone in
battle .The only Pokemon so far who Mega Evolve without a mega stone is
Rayquaza. However, it must know the move Dragon ascent.
All Pokémon who
are Mega Evolved have different different base stats, with the exception of HP( Health Points), and can
changes its ability and type which makes it is hard to battle against when you
think you had the type and ability chart figured out. All Mega-Evolved Pokémons
except for Mega Alakazam has a base stat total 100 points higher than that of
its base form.
most Pokemon who Mega evolve have only on Mega Evolution except for Chairzard and Mewtwo.Mega Charizard X is black and Blue and its type changes to Dragon / Flying while Mega Charizard Y remains very similar to normal Charizard when it comes to color and its type also remains the same.
